SADDLE FITTING

To ensure you get the best possible fit of any of the saddles we offer for sale,  we now offer you our FREE template service.

Please follow the instructions below to help you get an accurate template for your required saddle.

 

To Measure Your Existing Saddle

Seat Size

Carefully measure from the midpoint at the front of the saddle in a diagonal line to the cantle.

 
Approximate Guide

12.2hh-13.2hh  14" to 15"
13.2hh - 15hh  15" to 16"
Over 15hh    16½" or 17" 

 Width Fitting

Measure just below the cut back head just above the padding for the knee rolls. If you do not have an existing saddle, then take a wire coat hanger and mould it to the horses withers, then draw around it on a piece of paper you can then fax, post or email it to us so we can check the measurement for you.

If You Have No Saddle To Measure

To Obtain Your Seat Size

We suggest you use the  Approximate Seat Guide Above

Once you have completed taking your measurements please send your template to us by any of the following methods we will then check your measurements against the saddle you require.
